Ports for Vacuum Chambers
STEP 3    Select the ports that are right for your application
A port is an opening in the vacuum chamber. Each port has a tube connecting from the chamber to a flange. The flange is used to connect pumps and other equipment to the vacuum chamber. The type of flange on your vacuum chamber port will determine the vacuum level you are able to achieve. We suggest the following types based on the specified vacuum levels.

Specifications
  • Medium Vacuum (10-3 - 10-5 Torr/mBar)
      - ISO-KF for ports 50mm and smaller
      - ISO-K for ports 63mm and larger
      - ISO-F for ports 63mm and larger
  • High Vacuum (10-6 - 10-8 Torr/mBar)
      - ISO-KF for ports 50mm and smaller
      - ISO-K for ports 63mm and larger
      - ISO-F for ports 63mm and larger
  • Ultra High Vacuum (<10-9 Torr/mBar)
      - CF for ports up to 250mm
      - COF for ports larger than 250mm
 Notes
  • Select the ports based on the vacuum level
    you wish to achieve

  • ISO-KF/ISO-K flanges are sealed with reusable elasomer o-rings
  • CF Flanges are sealed with single use copper gaskets
  • Port location does not impact the price of the port
